The President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades is visiting India, where he will pay a four-day state visit, heading a government delegation, which will be accompanied by the Ministers of Finance, Energy, Transport, Agriculture and the Government Spokesman and Cypriot entrepreneurs.
On 28 April, the President of the Republic will visit the Presidential Palace where he will be officially welcomed by the President of India, and later on he will visit the Gandhi Mausoleum.
Several meetings will follow with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India, Mrs Sushma Swaraj and with the Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi, at the Prime Minister’s Office.
The President and the Cypriot delegation will then attend a working lunch hosted by the Prime Minister. After the lunch, bilateral agreements between the two countries will be signed.
In the evening, the President of the Republic will attend an official dinner hosted in his honor by the President of India, Mr Pranab Mukherjee.
The President of the Republic will leave New Delhi for Brussels early in the morning of 29 April, while the members of the Cypriot delegation will depart for Cyprus.
